Dear Pablo,
Many thanks for your example. Sorry for writing so late.
At least I found out, how it works for me . This is the best way.

Dear Ursula,
many thanks for your minimal sample.

Dear Pablo,
Many thanks for your example. Sorry for writing so late.
At least I found out, how it works for me . This is the best way.

ommands for each page?
I think it is better to define a single margin text command and use a
doublesided page setup.

> \definemarginframed[MyInMargin][topframe=on,bottomframe=on,rulethickness=1pt,

, width=13.50cm]
\starttext
\margintext {1.1.1}
{\bf Beispiel 3.2.17. (Vertauschung von All- und Existenzquantor).} \par
So I have here an example from the second page:
\definemargindata[inrightmargin][right][margin=margin,width=.50em\rightmarginwidth,style=,color=]
\definemarginframed[MyInMargin

Hi Damien,
I’m not sure I get your point, but this may be helpful:
\startitem \inrightmargin{\currenti
Hi,
So the numbercommand does work after all, I just needed to keep something
in the "formulanumber" part of the textline, otherwise it wouldn't get
drawn.
Not sure how nice this looks, but it does work like this now:
\starttext
\showframe
\setupformulas[numbercommand=\nbsp\inr
\setupcaption[figure][location={rightmargin}]
\startplacefigure[title=Cow] \externalfigure[cow] \stopplacefigure
\define[1]\MyFormulaNumber{\inleftmargin{#1}}
\setupformula[numbercommand=\MyFormulaNumber]
\inleftmargin{Left Margin Text}
\inrightmargin{Right Margin Text}
\startplaceformula
\definesymbol[Fin][\mathematics{\square}]
\def\qed{%
\ifmmode
\inrightmargin{\hskip-7.5mm\symbol[Fin]} % --> attention here
\else
\dontleavehmode\wordright{\symbol[Fin]}
\fi}
\setupformulas[location=left]
\starttext
One s
\inrightmargin{Hello!}xxx
\inrightmargin{Here!}
%\inrightmargin{Here!}\dontleavehmode
\stoptext

Thomas, Wolfgang,
Thank you very much!! Much cleaner now.
P.S. Still can't figure out why \inright and \inrightmargin behave
differently with respect to \vii (and such)... A lot to learn... a lot
to learn...
